FMA-IOP Inventory & Sales Orders

Sales Order Processing is an extension to the FMA Financial and Management Accounting System. As each customer order is entered online the costs, including any freight charges and v.a.t., are calculated to produce a fully priced sales order. Optionally stock levels can be checked and updated.

The user may choose to "hold" or "release" the order. An order which is "on hold" may be released when the obstacle (e.g. credit approval, stock shortage) has been cleared. As the order is released the despatch and invoice documents are produced. Invoices are posted automatically to the FMA ledgers.

FMA-Puma Purchase Orders

Purchase Orders Management is an extension to the FMA Financial and Management Accounting System. It provides for purchase orders to be drafted online and approved, amended or rejected under the company's defined authorisation procedures. They can then be confirmed by e-mail, fax or post. As each order is fulfilled, the expected cost is automatically accrued within the FMA ledgers. As suppliers' invoices are received, they are linked to their related purchase orders and deliveries; the accrued liabilities are reversed and any approved price variances automatically posted to the FMA accounts.

 


The FMA Purchase Orders Method
 1  Users (as allowed by your security controls) raise purchase orders for discrete items and/or services.
 2  Drafts can be amended/deleted. Some users can authorise their own and designated colleagues' purchase orders. Order confirmation can be sent by the preferred method (e-mail, fax or post) for each supplier.
 3  Receipts of items and services cause cost/liability accruals at purchase order price for quantities received.
 4  Each invoice is posted to the creditor's account; approved price variances are posted automatically.
